Problem:
Main NJ office was unable to securely connect to their 5 remote offices across the country. Individual employees were forced to use antiquated dialup technology to access email and internet. Per minutes charges often created high local phone bills. Each remote office needed to provide their own email solution and dial up solution.
Solution:
Transbeam installed high speed DSL in the main office and each of the remote offices. By connecting with firewalls, a highly secure, Virtual Private Network was created connecting all office together. The real-time sharing of information between offices was now possible.
Benefits:
1) Efficiency was established in all offices. 2) Information between all offices was now able to be passed to each site quickly and efficiently. 3) Individual dialup accounts were eliminated and local phone usage was eliminated in dialing up to internet. 4) Emails for all offices was able to be controlled from the main office. 5) All employees were able to access a uniform, corporate email 24/7.
