The following instructions will walk you through changing your account settings for Outlook 2000 to work with Transbeams servers.
1) Open Outlook.
2) From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.

Note: If Outlook 2000 is running in Corporate or Workgroup mode, choose Tools and then Services

3) Click on the Mail tab.
Note:If Outlook 2000 is running in Corporate or Workgroup mode, click the Services tab
4) Choose the email account you wish to reconfigure from the list.
5) Click the Properties button.


6) Click on the Servers tab.

7) In the box title Incoming Mail Server (POP3) enter mail.yourdomain.com Example: if you email address is joe@transbeam.com you would enter mail.transbeam.com for this field.
8) In the box title Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) enter smtp.yourdomain.com Example: if you email address is joe@transbeam.com you would enter smtp.transbeam.com for this field.
9) In the box titled Account Name do nothing. Note: this conversion does not require you to change account name or password.
10) Click OK to continue.

9) Click Close.
10) Restart Outlook.

Congratulations! Your settings are now configure to use the new Transbeam mail servers.
